L’Oréal Brandstorm 2021 Turkey First Place Winner "Champlayers" Advances to the International Semi Finals

The OzU team Champlayers made up of Özyeğin University junior Industrial Engineering students Sena Uslu,Eyüb Ensari Topcan and Yiğit Cicioğlu won first place in Brandstorm 2021, a global innovation challenge organized by L’Oréal for university students. This year marked the 29th edition of the competition. In the Turkish leg of the challenge, the OzU team claimed the first place title, and advanced to the international semifinals after competing against 289 teams, each made up of 3 members. A global innovation competition organized for university students by L’Oréal, one of the world’s leading cosmetics brands, Brandstorm offers the opportunity to discover and reveal the best marketing talents from across the world.

This year, Brandstorm 2021 was held under the theme of “Invent the Beauty Shopping Experience Through Entertainment”. Organized annually by L’Oréal, the competition attracts university students from over 65 countries each year.

The final voting for the Özyeğin University students Sena Uslu,Eyüb Ensari Topcan and Yiğit Cicioğlu, who advanced to the international semifinals with their team Champlayers, started on May 3.  The top 6 teams with the highest number of votes will compete in the international grand finale which will be held in Paris, and will have the opportunity to bring to life the Station F project, the largest start-up campus of Europe.
