Özyeğin University Tops The Student Satisfaction Survey 2021 in the "Academic Support and Care" and "Personal Development and Career Support" Categories with the Highest Student Satisfaction
According to the results of the “Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey” (TÜMA) 2021, Özyeğin University was listed as one of the top seven A+ universities with the highest student satisfaction among 198 universities across Turkey. Maintaining its first place in “Overall Satisfaction” for three years in a row in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively, Özyeğin University was once again placed in the top three in Overall Satisfaction among all foundation universities in Turkey in 2021 as well. The TÜMA Survey 2021 named Özyeğin University the top-performing university in two important categories: "Academic Support and Care" and "Personal Development and Career Support”. Özyeğin University topped the rankings in these categories with the highest score for student satisfaction.
This year, Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) was revised according to the distant education process by taking the pandemic conditions into account . Conducted by the University Assessments and Research Laboratory (UniAr), the survey rates universities with grades from A+ to FF. Universities with the highest satisfaction rate are listed “A+”, while the universities with the lowest satisfaction rate are rated “FF”. Özyeğin University has once again been rated “A+”, which represents the highest level of satisfaction, in “Overall Satisfaction” among all universities in Turkey.
The survey is conducted by Prof. Dr. Engin Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Cemil Yüce, the founders of the University Assessments and Research Laboratory (UniAr), without any financial support from any third person or organization in order to evaluate and assess university students’ experience and satisfaction. 42,353 students from 198 universities across Turkey participated in the Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) 2021. The survey examines student satisfaction across six domains: “Satisfaction with Learning Experience”, “DistanceEducation Infrastructure”, “Academic Support and Care”, “Satisfaction with Organizational Management and Administration”, “Richness of Learning Amenities and Resources”, and “Personal Development and Career Support”.
