The Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences has been internationally certified for its quality by the AABI after successfully completing all of the evaluation criteria for its programs. The Faculty had initiated the accreditation process in 2019 with the goal of having its programs’ quality of education and high standards recognized and accredited not just in the nation but also overseas.
AABI is the only non-profit aviation accrediting organization in the world. To date, AABI has accredited numerous aviation schools that stand out with their quality of education all over the world, including Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, Purdue University, and the University of North Dakota. The AABI is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States and by YÖKAK in Turkey.
