Two Awards From XONE Design Awards to Our University

Özyeğin University has received two awards in two different categories in XONE Design Award organized by the Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters' Association. The competition is held with the aim of developing the design power of the cement, glass, and ceramics sector in Turkey and improving its export volume. Our university was represented by Efe Gözen, an instructor at our Department of Architecture, and our graduates Tamer Kumaş and Mert Aydın. Our team was honored with the Gold award in recognition of their project “Tahin Pekmez” (Molasses with Tahini) in the Glass Containers category, and won the Bronze award in recognition of their project “Bio-Receptive Panels” in the Ceramic Coating category.
