First Place in the Urban Design Competition Organized for the Historical Peninsula

The team which also includes Assistant Prof. Doğa Dinemis Aman from the Faculty of Architecture and Design won first place in the İstanbul Land Walls Topkapı Kaleiçi Urban Design Competition organized by the Fatih Municipality. The competition was held for the square before the Topkapı gate of the Istanbul Land Walls. The region is entirely an Urban Historical Site, some of which is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The team which also includes Assistant Prof. Dinemis was honored with first prize in recognition of its project designed to make important contributions to Istanbul's cultural and architectural heritage.
