ÖzÜ Innovative Legal Lab

OzU Innovative Legal Lab is a laboratory that was established two months ago within the body of Özyeğin University to make law more understandable and accessible to the society, focusing on human-centered design and aiming to carry out multidisciplinary studies in this direction. Combining law with technology and design, this laboratory aims to create value for society within the framework of a rights-based approach by introducing new legal products and services, and to contribute to digital transformation by bringing law and innovation together. In line with this purpose, it produces studies in the fields of law and technology with legal design. Its goals in the field of legal design are to simplify and visualize legal texts, judicial decisions, legal processes and contracts, making them understandable for everyone and thus facilitating access to justice. In the field of law and technology, it aims to make law more automatic, calculable and consistent by trying to integrate areas such as blockchain and artificial intelligence into legal processes, thus providing solidity for digital transformation.
