The OzU Faculty of Business and Graduate School of Business are getting ready for an AACSB accreditation

Dear Members of the OzU Community, 

The OzU Faculty of Business and Graduate School of Business are getting ready for an AACSB accreditation. AACSB is the most prestigious business accreditation in the world. It is held by only about 6% of the world’s best business schools. 

When this accreditation happens, the international value of diplomas and the international reputation of our university will increase considerably. 

This means:

It will be easier for students to be accepted by a foreign university for Masters, MBA, or Doctorates. It will create more exchange deals with more universities abroad (Erasmus & Global Exchange). It will improve students’ chances in the job market, especially with international companies.

The school started this process in 2016 and has since then improved every process in the school, especially the quality of education (“assurance of learning”). 

The school is now ready to host a peer review visit from 23-26 October 2022. This peer review will be done by a team of experienced international deans. They will check every aspect of the school and that will determine whether we get the accreditation.

When you’re in any way related with the Faculty of Business or Graduate School of Business, be it as a student, alumni, faculty or professional, we like to be aware of the accreditation process and to be ready if you have any role in the visit.

When you have such a role, you have be informed of it.
