Özyeğin University Faculty Members Listed in Stanford University's List of World's Top-Cited Scientists

Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford University (METRICS) has released a new database of the world's most cited scientists as part of its efforts to provide a standardized measurement for citations from scientific articles. Özyeğin University faculty members Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal and Dr. Evşen Yanmaz Adam from the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ethem Alpaydın and Associate Prof. Ali C. Beğen from the Department of Computer Science, and Prof. Dr. M. Pınar Mengüç from the Department of Mechanical Engineering were recognized as top-cited scientists in recognition of their scientific contributions.

The first of its kind in its field, the database was prepared based on the Scopus citations data of the last 22 years and is updated regularly. The list examines the world’s most cited 100,000 scientists across 6 different citation methods.
