Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Science Attends IFTE 2023

The Özyeğin University Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, the first faculty in Turkey ever accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International, attended Turkey’s one and only Aviation Training Exhibition IFTE 2023.

The exhibition gathered together sector professionals, and aviation and innovative technology enthusiasts at the International Flights Terminal at Atatürk Airport from June 2 through June 4. The exhibition also brought together pilots, flight attendants, technicians, and ground service staff with aviation companies looking for prospective candidates for their open positions, and training organizations that prepare professionals for the aviation industry.

During the exhibition attended by Assistant Prof. Hatice Küçükonal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, as well as faculty and students of the Aviation Management and Professional Flight Programs, Assistant Prof. Semih Soran from Özyeğin University delivered a speech titled “Current Status of Pilot Training, and a Look at the Future from the Perspective of Flight Schools in Turkey” at the Aviation Talks conference held as part of the IFTE 2023 Fair.
