Özyeğin University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal Ranks First in Turkey in the World’s Best Electronics and Electrical Engineering Scientists Ranking 2023

Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal, Founding Head of the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University and Director of the Center of Excellence for Optical Wireless Communications Technologies (OKATEM), has been named among the 14 scientists from Turkey that are included in the World’s Best Electronics and Electrical Engineering Scientists Ranking 2023 created by research.com, a prestigious international academic platform. Prof. Dr. Uysal also topped the ranking among researchers included in the ranking in the discipline of communications.

The Research.com ranking of “Best Scientists” is based on data consolidated from various data sources for leading scientists with a minimum of 30 publications. Position in the annual ranking is based on a scientist's D-index (Discipline H-index), which takes into account only papers and citation data for an examined discipline.
