Özyeğin University Faculty Member Dr. Celia Naivar Şen Selected as Global Initiatives Director of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology

Dr. Celia Naivar Şen from the Psychology Department at Özyeğin University has been selected as the Global Initiatives Director at Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, which was founded in 1929 with a mission to encourage excellence in scholarship and advance the science of psychology. In 2021, Özyeğin University was also named the first higher education institution from Turkey to join Psi Chi under the mentorship of Dr. Şen.

Psi Chi is a prestigious academic society with over 750,000 lifetime members worldwide and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) in the United States. Psi Chi is also an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
