Özyeğin University Team Won the 2017 CFA Turkey Challenge

The Özyeğin University team placed first in the 2017 CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Turkey Challenge organized by the CFA Institute, the world’s leading association of investment professionals, and hosted by CFA Istanbul.

Our team seized the champion title under the mentorship of Assistant Prof. Erkan Yönder, a faculty member at OzU, and Bertuğ Tüzün from Ak Investment. The finalists also included Boğaziçi University, Middle East Technical University, İstanbul Technical University, and Izmir University of Economics.

Our student teams have been representing our University in the CFA Challenge for the past 3 years. This is the second time our students have won the Turkish finals of the competition, and etched their names on a significant achievement in finance.

We congratulate our students on their accomplishment, and wish them success during the global final round in Prague, from April 26 to 28.
