Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ Received the 2024 Exceptional Service Award of IEEE Türkiye

Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ, a faculty member at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Özyeğin University, received the “2024 Exceptional Service Award” from the IEEE Türkiye Section.

The “Exceptional Service Award” of IEEE Türkiye is a prestigious award honoring the long-standing, qualified, and sustainable contributions to the engineering profession, the IEEE community, and volunteer activities. Prof. Uğurdağ was honored with this award for his academic, technical, and managerial responsibilities within IEEE, his community-building activities, and his contributions to professional development.

Throughout his academic career, Prof. Uğurdağ has conducted education and research activities in areas such as digital design, FPGA and chip design, and computer architectures. He has trained numerous undergraduate and graduate students and contributed to national and international academic studies. Through his volunteer work within IEEE, Prof. Uğurdağ has played an active role in activities that support the professional development of young engineers and researchers, in particular.
