OzU Computer Science Alumnus Eren Doğan Receives CITRIS Spanos Award in Semiconductor Research

Eren Doğan, valedictorian of the Undergraduate Computer Science Program at Özyeğin University and currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz, has been selected as one of four UC students to receive the inaugural Costas John Spanos Semiconductor Manufacturing Award, presented by the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute.

The award honors outstanding graduate student research in semiconductor devices, technology, design and manufacturing.

Eren Doğan is advised by Matthew Guthaus, professor of Computer Science and Engineering at UC. His previous mentor was H. Fatih Uğurdağ, Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University.
