Dear Students,

Would you like to get to know the waste management processes on our campus more closely, raise your awareness about recycling, and take action together for a cleaner environment?

At the “Melting Down What We Consume!” event, organized in collaboration with the Duyarlı ÖzÜ Volunteering Program, HSE Community Club, and OLTE, we will first attend a short seminar to learn more about ÖzÜ’s waste management practices, and then take part in a waste collection activity on campus.

Through this event, you will have the opportunity to:

learn more about the waste management processes on campus,
gain interesting insights about recycling and environmental pollution,
contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable campus.

Our event is carried out within the scope of the following courses:

SEC 101
TRL102/104
TRL202/204

At the end of the event, a carbon footprint calculation and offsetting process will also be carried out. Before attending, we kindly ask you to calculate your individual carbon footprint through the relevant link.
