2026 Summer Term Dormitory Application

Dear Students,

Below you may find general information and important dates for the 2026 Summer Session dormitory applications.

2026 Summer Session Dormitory Applications

• You may complete your Dormitory Application for the 2026 Summer Session from Tuesday, June 08, 2026, 10:00 am through Friday, June 12, 2026, 17:00 pm. To complete your application, please log in to the SIS, and click on the “Dormitory Procedures” >>Dormitory Application Form”>> “Summer Session Dormitory Application” tabs.
• Students may check the results of their dormitory applications via the SIS on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.  To check your dormitory application results, please log in to the SIS, and click on the Dormitory Procedures >> Dormitory Application Results tabs, respectively.
• Students who are assigned rooms as a result of their dormitory applications must pay the due room fees and/or security deposit for their rooms before Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 17:00.
• Students who make their payments may move into the dormitories starting from Saturday, June 27, 2026. You may check your due housing payments via the SIS.  You may make your payment by credit card via the Online Payment screen on the SIS, or in cash at Fibabanka branches by giving your student number to the bank official.

Please also be reminded that failure to make the payments till the announced due date and time will result in the cancellation of your room assignment.

Important Notes for Housing Support Recipients

• The housing support is awarded at the time of admission to university and covers a period of 9 months, including the Fall and Spring semesters.  The housing support is extended to cover the summer session for students registered in summer courses, limited to the dates specified in the academic calendar.
• However, summer session housing support will be offered for available and open rooms designated for summer student housing.  Housing support recipients wishing to benefit from this extension must select "Yes” in their applications for the statement, "I would like to be assigned to a different room if I cannot be placed in the room of my preference."

Move-In Procedures:

For First-Time Residents in the 2026 Summer Session:

• Make sure to pay your Summer session housing fee,
• Fill out the Summer Session Move-In Form,
• Submit a clean bill of health (health certificate) which verifies your fitness to stay in the dormitories,
• Submit your Criminal Record Certificate (Police Clearance Certificate),
• Submit a copy of your student passport, if you are an international student,
• Sign the Room Condition Inventory for your new room,
• Collect the room card of the room assigned to you for the Summer session. (Please be reminded that in order to be eligible to receive your room card, you must have no outstanding housing payments, including for the summer session.) 

For 2025-2026 Fall and/or Spring Semester Residents:

• Make sure to pay your Summer session housing fee,
• Fill out the Summer Session Move-In Form,
• Sign the Room Condition Inventory for your new room,
• Collect the room card of the room assigned to you for the Summer session. (Please be reminded that in order to be eligible to receive your room card, you must have no outstanding housing payments, including for the summer session.) 

2026 Özyeğin University Summer Housing Fees 

Important Dates 

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

• Students who wish to reside in the dormitories during the summer session dates due to their internship/assistantship positions must submit their requests before Monday, June 08, 2026 via email at yurt@ozyegin.edu.tr.
• Applicants will be placed in the available room types.
• The requests of students who apply to stay in the dormitories for their internship programs/assistantship positions will be considered so long as students submit their proof of internship or assistantship to Accommodation Services. Proof of internship must be issued by the employer, and must bear the employer’s stamp and signature as well as the dates of internship. Students must submit their proof of internship to the Accommodation Services Office as hard copy. As for students with assistantship positions, the respective professors whom students will be assisting must send a confirmation email at yurt@ozyegin.edu.tr.
• Once your housing request is approved, the respective housing fees will be charged to your account via the SIS, and the due date for payment and your room details will be sent to your OzU email address with the extension ozu.edu.tr.
• The last date for dormitories to accommodate interns/assistants is Saturday, August 22, 2026.
