The European Legal Design COST Action, in which Özyeğin University Faculty of Law Members Serve as Secondary Proposers and Management Committee Members, Has Been Accepted

The European Legal Design COST Action, with Özyeğin University Faculty of Law members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülfer Meriç and Asst. Prof. Dr. Başak Ozan Özparlak among its co-proposers, aims to enhance access to justice and the comprehensibility of law at the intersection of technology and law. Furthermore, Asst. Prof. Dr. Başak Ozan Özparlak has been appointed as a Management Committee Member representing Turkey in the action coordinated by Tallinn University of Technology.

Within the scope of this initiative, which will bring together academics and researchers from across Europe, international workshops, conferences, training programs, and scientific publication activities will be conducted in the field of legal design. Leveraging the opportunities offered by technology to make legal information more accessible, understandable, and user-oriented is also among the core objectives of the project.
