Application Deadline for IAPS-Culture & Space Network “Culture and Space Meetings 5” Idea Competition Extended to 6 July

The application deadline for the Idea Competition organized within the scope of IAPS-Culture & Space Network “Culture and Space Meetings 5” has been extended until 6 July 2026.

Organized under the theme “Multi-Ecological Perspectives on Istanbul as a Palimpsest City in the Anthropocene: Future Imaginaries, and Emerging Narratives,” the competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students studying in faculties of architecture, design, and fine arts, who may apply individually or as a team.

Participants are invited to rethink Istanbul at the threshold of the Anthropocene through multi-ecological perspectives, and to develop alternative spatial and narrative constructs focusing on the city’s historical layers, present dynamics, and future possibilities.
