Zeynep Başaran Bundur Honored with TTGV Pioneer Researcher Award

Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Başaran Bundur, Chair of the Civil Engineering Department, has been honored with the Dr. Akın Çakmakcı Pioneer Researcher Award, presented by the Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye (TTGV) as part of its 2026 TTGV Awards.

Assoc. Prof. Başaran Bundur received the award in recognition of her groundbreaking work in sustainable cement and the development of sustainable and adaptive materials.

Presented during TTGV Day, an annual gathering that brings together stakeholders from the public and private sectors, academia, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem, the TTGV Awards honor researchers, institutions, civil society organizations, and leaders who have driven transformative change in climate technologies over the past five years.
