Özyeğin University Brings Together Alumni, Students, and Business Leaders in London

Committed to strengthening its global alumni network and fostering international collaboration, Özyeğin University brought together alumni, Executive MBA students, faculty members, and business leaders in London. As part of the Özyeğin Executive MBA program, participants traveled to London, where they attended courses at London Business School and engaged with leading organizations in the business world through a series of company visits and meetings. As part of the program, the University’s global community also came together at a reception hosted by His Excellency Koray Ertaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the United Kingdom, creating valuable opportunities to reconnect and establish new professional relationships.

Speaking at the event, Özyeğin University President Prof. Dr. Barış Tan emphasized that a university’s alumni are its most valuable asset. Noting that more than 12,000 Özyeğin University graduates are now pursuing their careers across 74 countries, Prof. Tan highlighted the importance of fostering communication and the exchange of experiences among alumni living around the world. He also underlined that gatherings such as this play a vital role in creating new collaborations and strengthening professional networks.

The program, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mahmut Bayazıt, Director of the Özyeğin University Graduate School of Business, and Assoc. Prof. Kıvılcım Döğerlioğlu Demir, Executive MBA Program Director, served as an important platform supporting the University’s international vision. By bringing together academia and the business community, the program enabled participants to exchange knowledge and experience while creating new opportunities for collaboration with professionals from a wide range of industries.
