Nine Research Projects From Özyeğin University Receive TÜBİTAK 1001 Funding

Transforming research excellence into sustained success, Özyeğin University has once again reaffirmed its strong position within Türkiye's research ecosystem through the results of the TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program (2026/1).

In the first call of the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program for 2026, nine research projects from Özyeğin University were awarded funding. With this achievement, further strengthening its position among Türkiye's leading research-intensive universities.

What makes this achievement particularly meaningful is not only the number of funded projects, but also the breadth of our research culture across the University. For the first time, all of our faculties submitted proposals to the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program. Moreover, the funded projects span the Faculties of Architecture and Design, Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, Law, Business, Social Sciences, and Engineering, demonstrating the growing strength of our research capacity across diverse disciplines and the widespread adoption of research excellence throughout the University. This success across a broad range of scientific fields is a testament to our vibrant interdisciplinary research culture and the maturity of our sustainable research ecosystem.
