2026 Orientation Program Volunteer Student Applications

Dear Students,

The 2026 Orientation Program for our newly admitted students will take place on September 17–18, 2026. Volunteer students who would like to take part in the Orientation Program will be responsible for various tasks, including welcoming and guiding new students, supporting Peer Advisors, assisting with registration processes, and supporting campus/faculty tours.

We invite students who would like to be part of the Orientation team and contribute to the university adjustment process of our new students to complete the application form.

Program Dates

Orientation of Orientation Training:
Wednesday, September 16, 2026

2026 Orientation Program:
Thursday, September 17, 2026 – ScOLa Orientation
Friday, September 18, 2026 – Undergraduate Orientation

This year, the Orientation Program will be held over two days, and international students will also participate in the program on September 17–18.

Mandatory Attendance

Volunteer students are required to attend the Orientation of Orientation Training on September 16 and the entire Orientation Program on September 17–18.

Due to the updated structure of the program this year, please make sure that you are available to attend the program on all of the dates specified above before submitting your application.

Application

Students who would like to volunteer for the Orientation Program must complete the application form by 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Volunteer students will be provided with a T-shirt by the Student Development and Experience Department / Office of the Dean of Students to wear during the days they are assigned to the Orientation Program.

The detailed program schedule and task assignments will be shared with the selected volunteer students once preparations are finalized.

Early Dormitory Check-in

Volunteer students who have been officially assigned a dormitory room will be able to check into their dormitory before the Orientation of Orientation Training on September 16. Further information regarding the check-in time and process will be shared at a later date.

Since the list of volunteer students will be shared with the Accommodation Services Directorate, no separate application will be required for early check-in. Students with confirmed dormitory assignments will be identified by the relevant department through the system.

Course Registration Process

In accordance with the academic calendar, the course registration period will take place before the Orientation Program dates, so there will be no conflict between course registration and the Orientation Program. Therefore, no special arrangement will be made for course registration for students who will serve as Orientation Volunteers.

However, if course quota increase times overlap with the Orientation of Orientation Training on September 16, the necessary flexibility will be provided to prevent any inconvenience. Further details will be shared once the training schedule and times are finalized.
