Second Honorable Mention for Özyeğin University Team in Architectural Design Competition

An architectural proposal developed by faculty members and students of Özyeğin University’s Faculty of Architecture and Design has received the Second Honorable Mention in the Balıkesir Cumhuriyet Square Social Center Architectural Design Competition. Designed as a new public space for the city, the project was recognized among the competition’s award-winning submissions.

The project team is composed of architects İlker Fatih Özorhon, Güliz Özorhon, and Mehmet Emin Bayraktar; civil engineer Ömer Karadağ; and Doğa Dinemis Aman, who served as the project authors. The supporting team includes Architecture students Deren Onur, Yağmur Kaya, and Esra Zeynep Topal.
