OLTE Faculty Training: Foundations of University Teaching

Dear Faculty Members,

OLTE’s new Transformative Teaching Program is designed to support faculty members in enhancing their teaching practices through structured, self-paced courses and follow-up workshops.

The first module of the program, Foundations of University Teaching, is now available on LMS Next.

The first course under this module, Constructive Alignment, focuses on designing or revising a course by connecting learning outcomes, teaching and learning activities, assessment, course content, and syllabus communication. This asynchronous course can be completed individually and at your own pace.

Additional courses on assessment, feedback, student engagement, and classroom interaction will be added gradually.

The hybrid workshop, offered as a follow-up to the first asynchronous course, will take place on Tuesday, October 20, from 13:00 to 14:00 in the OLTE HyFlex Classroom and online via Zoom. To support a more practice-oriented session, we kindly ask participants to complete the course before attending.
