KADİM Program Enters Implementation Phase Through Özyeğin University and DOKA Partnership

Developed through a partnership between Özyeğin University and the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA), the Solidarity and Advanced Mentorship Program for Women’s Cooperatives (KADİM) has entered its implementation phase following a launch event held at Özyeğin University. Building on nearly two years of field research, the program aims to strengthen the organizational capacity and economic sustainability of women’s cooperatives across the Eastern Black Sea Region.

KADİM will offer long-term mentorship support to women’s cooperatives based in Trabzon, Ordu, Giresun, Rize, Gümüşhane, and Artvin for business development, marketing, branding, finance, governance, and market access. To date, more than 70 applications have been received from organizations and individuals interested in joining the program’s mentorship network. Academics, experts, consultants, and companies from a range of sectors will work together to address the specific needs of women’s cooperatives.

Impact assessments conducted throughout the program will track progress in the cooperatives’ organizational capacity, economic activities, and access to markets. The results of KADİM’s implementation phase are expected to contribute to the development of similar mentorship models in other regions of Türkiye.
