Invitation to ICT 2018 Brokerage Event

Dear Faculty Members,

Europe's most important and greatest ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) event ICT 2018 will take place in Vienna on 4-6 December 2018. It will present an opportunity for the people involved in this transformation to share their experience and vision of Europe in the digital age. The event, which will include researchers, industry representatives, entrepreneurs and more than 4000 participants, will be organized under four main components of the theme "Imagine Digital - Connect Europe": Conference, Cooperation Sessions, Project fair and StartUp Forum 

The program will include the following topics:

Artificial intelligence and the next digital transformation of industry

The European data economy – realizing the potential of big data for the digital single market;

High-Performance Computing (HPC) in Europe: development of the HPC ecosystem in applications and services

The role of digital skills in education and life-long learning

TÜBİTAK HORIZON2020 Travel Support

The travel expenses of the limited number of Turkish participants of ICT2018 Brokerage Event will be covered by TÜBİTAK. The support will cover the travel expenses including the visa fees and accommodation. The approved applications for the travel support will get the equivalent of max. of 1.500 Euros in Turkish Liras.
