The 3rd OzU-HMAN Advisory Board Meeting

The 3rd Advisory Board Meeting of Ozyeğin University’s Undergraduate Hotel Management Program  was held on 2 April Friday.

The meeting was conducted with the participation of Prof. Dr. Robert H. Bosselman, Chair of the Department of Apparel, Educational Sciences and Hospitality Management at Iowa State University.  Served as the President of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (I-CHRIE), the leading international association for hospitality education,  between 2005-2006, Prof. Dr. Robert H. Bosselman is still active in I-CHRIE as the US Central Federation President.

During the third advisory board meeting, the following topics were discussed with the participation of Prof. Dr. Robert H. Bosselman, the new member of the board. 

• Current students’ performances and new students quotas for Academic Year of 2010-2011
• Promotional activities on national and international levels
• Need & search process for new Faculty Members
• Information on potential partnership(s)
• Activities carried out by the “International Hotel & Tourism Club” formed by the HMAN Students at OzU
• Potential projects for the Hotel Industry stakeholders
