Ali Can Orhan will Represent Our University in the 3M World Finals in the USA
 
Ali Can Orhan, our junior student and Sectoral Events Club President, was ranked in the top three during 3M’s “Invent a New Future Challenge”. Ali Can Orhan will represent Turkey and Özyeğin University in the world finals. The world finals will take place in 3M’s World Headquarters, the USA, from July 18th to July 21st.
 
A total of 15 students from Koç University, METU, ITU, Bilkent, Boğaziçi and Özyeğin University competed in the national finals in three different groups. During the day-long challenge, the groups worked on a given business case under the guidance of 3M’s brand managers and human resources representatives. Each group then pitched their ideas before 20 senior executives.
 
“Invent a New Future” is a marketing challenge designed to select the best team leaders with the best presentation skills and the most creative ideas. Ali Can Orhan won the first place within his team.  Berkay Yücel and Berkay Soyer from Koç University were also ranked first within their teams. The top three Turkish finalists will attend the world finals in the US.
