Özyeğin University and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) Together Established the Sustainable Development Forum

The Sustainable Development Forum (SDF) was established on April 6, 2017 as a scientific research platform in order to enable both Özyeğin University and TÜSİAD to take their share of responsibility in Turkey’s advancement based on the 17 sustainable development goals set forth by the United Nations and adopted by Turkey.

Özyeğin University’s mission is to create, share, and apply knowledge in the service of society. The University aims to bring solution-oriented and high value-added applications to life. As an entrepreneurial research university, Özyeğin University aims to understand first hand the realities of both the public and private sectors, on both a global and local level, through its world-class education and research.

In line with the goal of making the principles of Sustainable Development, which is the corner stone of social benefit, an integral part of education, research and development, and all cooperative efforts, TÜSİAD and Özyeğin University signed the Sustainable Development Forum (SDF) protocol. In light of global developments, the forum will serve as a scientific study and dialogue environment for Turkey’s fast and effective adaptation to these developments, as well as for the risks and opportunities facing all sectors.
