OzU SAS - Scuba Diving

Dear Friends,

OZUSAS will be in Bodrum for Scuba Diving training and diving event right after the finals!!! All adventurers are invited to join us  in Bodrum to shake off the stress of the year and explore the mysterious world of underwater!

You do not need to know how to swim in order to scuba dive. It is much safer than driving a car! Who wouldn’t want to discover a magical world underwater and find peace in the deep blue waters when 3/4 of the Earth is covered by water?  Plus, we guarantee you that Bodrum is so much more fun when you in the company of fun people!

Our training consists of two parts: It is compulsory to attend both parts in order to be eligible to receive the CMAS One-Star Diver C-Card (Certificate). Also, divers already holding a CMAS 1 Star Diving C-Card (or PADI/SSI diver certifications etc.) can also attend this training program to receive their CMAS 2 Star Diver C-Card, provided that they have 20 registered dives in their logbooks.

Training Program:

Part I (Özyeğin University):

We will have 6 hours of theoretical training spread over 2 days at Ozyegin University. Then, we will have 2 hours of pool diving session during which we will learn various diving skills in the pool of our university.  The training sessions will be scheduled based on the availability of participants.

Part II (June 16-17-18, Bodrum):

We will leave for Bodrum, Muğla by bus. Our bus will depart from the Çekmeköy Campus on Saturday night, June 15.  Every morning we will sail with our boat into the blue waters and perform 6 dives over 3 days. In the evenings, we will shake off our tiredness, enjoying Bodrum. We will leave for Istanbul on June 18.

Fees:

• Training + Diving in Bodrum: 1050 TL
• Diving in Bodrum: 700 TL (for C-Card holders)
• If you do not want to dive but just want to join us to enjoy Bodrum and our boat tours, the fee is 550TL. (including one discovery dive)

Included Services:

• 2-night B&B Accommodation at Le Jardin in Bodrum (Twin rooms)
• Round-Trip Coach Between Istanbul and Bodrum
• 6 deep-sea diving sessions over 3 days
• Lunch on the boat
• All training documents and equipment
• C-Card (Certification) Fees

Excluded Services:

• Dinners
• Any other personal expenses
