Kemal Berkay Tüzün holds a Ph.D. in Management specializing in Business Analytics and Operations Management, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Finance, both from Sabancı University. Following his Ph.D., he taught courses at Sabancı University.  

His research lies at the intersection of behavioral operations, sustainability, revenue management, and human–AI interaction in operational decision-making. Using controlled and interactive web-based experiments, he investigates how cognitive mechanisms influence consumer and managerial choices to improve operational efficiency and environmental outcomes. His work is published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Business Research and Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management.
