Biopolymers, development of nanocomposite materials for food packaging applications, bioactivity, and controlled release of bioactive components.
Büşra İpek earned her BS degree in Chemistry from Istanbul Technical University in 2018. She completed her M.Sc. degree at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Chemistry in 2021. Without interrupting her academic education, she started her doctoral studies at the Department of Chemistry of Istanbul Technical University. She joined Özyeğin University, Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences where she currently serves as a research and teaching assistant in 2020. She actively participates in the laboratory studies of chemistry courses here. Her current research focuses on biopolymers, development of nanocomposite materials, bioactivity, and controlled release of bioactive agents.
