Canan Şaban works as an instructor at the School of Foreign Languages. She received her BA in English Language Teaching from Boğaziçi University in 2003 and her MA in Educational Administration and Supervision from Yeditepe University in 2011. She completed her PhD in English Language Education at Bahçeşehir University in 2020. Between 2015 and 2026, she served as the Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator at the School of Foreign Languages. Prior to joining Özyeğin University, she worked as an English language teacher at Gökdil, Kent English, and Ozandil language schools, as well as at various private schools. She also contributed to the preparation of English test books for the SBS (Secondary Education Institutions Entrance Examination), published by 5renk Publishing.
