Modeling and simulation of biological systems, mathematical oncology, drug delivery and efficacy in cancer
Dr. Defne Yilmaz received her B.Sc. degree from the Department of Physics at Istanbul University in 2010, followed by a minor in mathematics at the same university. She then completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in the Department of Physics at Bogazici University. During her master’s and doctoral studies, she worked as a student assistant and as a research assistant on various research projects at the same department. Her research interests mainly include modeling and simulation of biological systems, mathematical oncology, drug delivery and efficacy in cancer.
