Dr. Meral received her BS degree from Mathematical Engineering Program at the Science and Letters Faculty of Istanbul Technical University in 1991. Her MSc. degree is in System Analysis Program of the Science and Technology Institute of the same university. Her PhD is in Computational Science and Engineering Program at the Informatics Institute of Istanbul Technical University.
She has 20+ years professional educator experience in various platforms and applications, 20+ years overall software development experience in various domains of industrial, scientific, and business applications including diverse programming languages and tools.
Her research interests include Engineering Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Enterprise Applications, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, and Software Design
