Dr. Işılay TEKÇE received her B.Sc. (2000) and M.Arch (2002) degrees in Architecture from  Istanbul Technical University (ITU).  During her PhD studies in ITU, she was awarded with Fellowship of Rectorate for International Research Support and conducted her studies at University of Reading as visiting researcher. She obtained her PhD degree (2010) in Architecture from ITU with dissertation titled “Developing a Multi-Criteria Performance Measurement Model for Construction Contractors”.
 
She was involved in management of various construction and research projects at ITU Project Management Center  between 2000 and 2010. She was also involved in  two successful FP7 projects as a researcher. Before joining to Ozyegin University Dr. Işılay Tekçe worked at Okan University as an assistant professor between 2010 and 2013. Her work has received awards and been published internationally.
 
Her research interests mainly lie in the fields of Project and Construction Management, Strategic Management, Performance Measurement/Management in Construction, Research Methods for Construction, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) in Construction and Sustainability in Construction.
