Kartal Turhan received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Hacettepe University Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. He has taught Basic Design, Computer-Aided Design and Detail courses in various universities’ Interior Architecture departments. Since his undergraduate education, he has also consulted on the design, visualization and implementation stages of many projects. Turhan conducts research, activities and expertise in the field of BIM and Interior Architecture; he contributed to the opening of BIM Applications in Interior Architecture and Digitalization in Interior Architecture courses at Özyeğin University and he is still the coordinator of these courses. He also participated as a researcher and BIM expert in the Erasmus+ Digitalization and Immersive Design of Architectural Heritage project, which Özyeğin University is a project partner of. Turhan also holds the Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Architectural Design certificate.
