Meriç Bıçakcıoğlu completed her doctoral studies in Organizational Management and academically focuses on entrepreneurship and organizational sociology. She believes in "practice-science collaboration" to better understand complex phenomena and apply insights to real-world situations. She began her professional career in the education sector, then worked at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. There, she progressed through roles starting as a team member in an international restructuring project, eventually becoming the head of the training unit and serving as a Coordinator and Advisor to the Board of Directors. Following her Master's degree in Management from the University of Nottingham in the UK, she established her own business in agriculture. Initially focusing on production and sales, she later developed a system and conducted "Agricultural Valuation" studies with her team for investment projects. This experience reinforced her passion for entrepreneurship and led her to share her knowledge as a mentor and consultant. Meriç specializes in business model development, innovation culture, restructuring, and process management. She plans workshops for companies on these topics and provides mentoring, training, and direct consulting services. She also works as a project coordinator and mentor at Hicerate, a New York-based accelerator, contributing to two entrepreneurial projects by assisting in establishing organizational structures, overseeing business relationships, and managing product-focused projects. A particular focus of her work is on Creativity, Social Entrepreneurship, and Social Innovation. She organizes training sessions and workshops and provides mentorship for both private companies and public institutions in these areas. She frequently speaks on these topics to various groups, including high schools, NGOs, and universities. She currently teaches "Social Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation and Change" and "Creativity and Idea Development" courses as a part-time lecturer at Özyeğin University. In addition to her ongoing mentoring and training activities, Meriç remains actively involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem by managing consulting and scaling efforts for a private company.
