Merve Çetinkaya obtained her B.Sc. from Ege University, the department of American Culture and Literature in 2016, and M.A. in the department of American Culture and Literature from Ege University in 2019. After completing her bachelor degree, she started working in different language schools. During her M.A studies, Merve Çetinkaya joined Yaşar University, the School of Foreign Languages. At Yaşar University, she taught English as a foreign language and worked in Testing and Assessment office as an item writer. Since 2022, Merve Çetinkaya has been working as an English instructor in the School of Foreign Languages at Özyeğin University. Her areas of specialty are the importance of student motivation in learning a second language and using educational technologies in teaching.
