Olcay Taner Yıldız received his PhD degree in computer science from Boğaziçi University, İstanbul, Turkey and did postdoctoral work at the University of Minnesota, in 2005. He has tought in the Department of Computer Engineering at Işık University, between 2005-2020. He is a full professor in Özyeğin University since 2020. His research interests include natural language processing, machine learning, and bioinformatics.
