M. Onur Balkan graduated from Turkish Land Force Academy department of System Engineering in 1999. He flew helicopter Land Force as a captain, instructor and examiner pilot. Between 2013-2017 he worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor at several universities in Turkey. He joined Sunexpress Airlines in 2017 and still flying as a first officer at Boeing 737. He received his master's (2006) and Doctoral degree from İnönü University in 2010. He become Associate Professor in 2016. M. Onur Balkan's research interests include "emotional IQ, personal qualification and CRM.
