H. Onur Bodur is an Affiliate Professor of Marketing at Özyeğin University and Professor of Marketing at Concordia University. He holds an MS (Marketing) and a PhD (Marketing) from Virginia Tech. Dr. Bodur's research explores sustainability and ethics, socially responsible consumption, visual attention in retail environments, and consumer responses to price and brand communications. His publications appeared in leading marketing and business journals (JMR, JCR, JCP, JAMS, JR, JBE). Through his own research and research partnerships, he has secured over 2 million USD in research funding.
Committed to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels (M.Sc., Ph.D., MBA, EMBA), he has developed courses in sustainability, led curriculum revisions, and authored a textbook on marketing research. He values supervision and mentorship of graduate students (M.Sc., Ph.D.) and junior faculty and is dedicated to guiding resulting research collaborations. He actively contributes to the academic community in reviewer, external assessor, or mentor roles.
