Pınar Gökalp completed her B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 2011. After receiving her Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Maltepe University in 2019, she started her doctorate in Maltepe University in 2021, in the department of Business Administration. She worked as the Theoretical Knowledge Instructor at Ayjet Anatolian Stars Flight School between 2010-2014 and as the Chief Ground Instructor at the Atlantic Flight School between 2014-2015. In 2015, she started to teach courses on Aircraft General Knowledge and Systems, Flight Performance, Human Performance and Limits, Flight Planning and Air Law & ATC procedures as a lecturer at Özyeğin University.

In her Master's Thesis, Pınar Gökalp examined the effect of leadership types on performance and the mediation effect of organizational culture. She continues her research on effective leadership types in the aviation industry.
