Legal Concepts of Energy Law I

The subject of this course is the detailed discussion of public law and especially administrative law concepts and principles that relate to energy law. As known, together with new emerging fields such as energy law, a number of fundamental legal concepts and principles are re-opened to discussion. With this perspective, in this course, enforcement activities of the administration, public service, incentive/subsidy activities of the administration, the regulatory power of the administration and administrative act topics will be studied and discussed in relation to energy law. At the end of the course, it is aimed to explain and discuss the conceptual background of the legislation on energy markets in Turkey.
