Postdoctoral Researcher Position: Protective and Risk Factors in Positive Social Development, Emotion Regulation, Attachment, and Well-being of Children

Özyeğin University Postdoctoral Fellowship Program:

This program welcomes applications from recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates of PhD programs at esteemed national and international institutions. It aims to provide highly qualified candidates with the opportunity to advance their research projects and enhance their publications as they transition into the job market. Selected candidates will be offered a competitive package, including a stipend, shared housing, health insurance, and additional benefits.

Research Interest: Prosocial development, emotion regulation, attachment, parenting, and well-being

Qualifications:

• PhD in Developmental Psychology and related fields
• Research experience in child social and emotional development
• Experience in leading data collection and managing the research process
• Proficiency in advanced statistics and longitudinal data analysis
• Present and share research findings at international conferences and publications
• Excellent communication in the English language (verbal and written).

Requirements:

• Each applicant must submit a proposal for a postdoctoral research project, preferably developed in collaboration with a potential supervisor. Successful applicants will be required to present this proposal to the TÜBİTAK 1001 Research Grant Competition or an equivalent program during the earliest application window announced on the TÜBİTAK website. Any alternative programs must be discussed and approved by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Impact (VPRII).
