Uygulamalı Bilimler Fakültesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Özyeğin University, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Faculty Member Position

 

Özyeğin University, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts invites applicants for one faculty member position as Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the area of Food Engineering, Food Science or Nutrition and Dietetics starting in Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027.

Applicants should have a PhD in Food Engineering, Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field and must have a strong commitment to

  • teach (in English) undergraduate and graduate level courses in food engineering, nutrition and dietetics (particularly on nutrition, hygiene and food safety)
  • conduct research in their fields of expertise
  • apply for national and/or international grants and fellowships
  • have a structured research agenda with published research outputs in internationally recognized (SSCI, SCIE, Scopus indexed) academic journals.

Active collaboration with the industry is a plus but not required.

Candidates should submit a cover letter, together with their CV, teaching and research statements, a sample syllabus for an undergraduate course in Nutrition, Hygiene and Food Safety, and complete contact information for three references.
