Dilale Dönmez completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in International Relations at Istanbul Bilgi University. She received her PhD from the Political Science and International Relations program at Koç University. During and after her doctoral studies, she worked on various TÜBİTAK-funded projects and contributed to interdisciplinary research teams.
Her academic work focuses on democratic backsliding, conspiracy theories, information disorder, autocratization, polarization, and political attitudes and behavior. In these areas, she employs a combination of quantitative and experimental methods to analyze public opinion dynamics. She is currently teaching a course on analytical tools in the social sciences while continuing her research and teaching activities.
