About Us

The Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program admitted its first students in September 2010. While preparing the program's initial curriculum, the criteria published by ABET and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) were reviewed; leading computer engineering, computer science, and software engineering programs in Türkiye and around the world, particularly in the United States, as well as the views of all stakeholders, were taken into consideration. During its establishment, our department also incorporated the requirements of the Bologna education system. Our program has been continuously accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK) since 2016.

Our Educational Objectives:

With the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes they acquire through their education, our Computer Engineering undergraduate graduates will be able to:

• Work as computer engineers, researchers, or managers in national or international companies,
• Be admitted to master’s or doctoral programs in computer engineering or related disciplines in Türkiye or abroad, and later pursue academic careers at higher education institutions,
• Develop products involving new technologies in computer engineering or related fields, and establish new technology-based companies.
