Ozyegin University (OzU, Istanbul - Turkey) will hire an assistant, associate and/or full professor in the field of Couple and Family Therapy.
The applicants are required to be able to offer undergraduate and graduate level courses in Couple and Family Therapy and to have received training in clinical supervision. They are further expected to have publications in international, refereed journals or be actively involved in research activities with potential for such publications.
OzU was founded as a private not-for-profit university in 2007 and quickly rose in national and international university rankings, e.g., becoming the youngest university from Turkey in multiple THE rankings.
OzU Psychology BA program, founded in 2011, is one of the few programs that is accredited by the Turkish Psychological Association, reflecting the high international standards of the education offered. Together with the BA program, the department houses MA programs in Couple & Family Therapy, Applied Developmental Psychology, and Industrial & Organizational Psychology. The department currently has around 350 undergrad students, 25 grad students, and 17 full time academics. With multiple labs, a Couple and Family Center, and involvement in various research and intervention projects, the department has an excellent research and public service & engagement record.
