Dispute Resolution in International Energy Investments 

This lecturer focuses on dispute resolution, particularly investment arbitration, and examines specific arbitration cases in international investment arbitration. This class aims to evaluate the extent to which arbitration play a role in mitigating the political risks in transnational energy projects. The content of this lecturer is divided into two parts. Part One provides a background to dispute resolution and particularly the investment arbitration, which defines the significance of this class. Part Two takes a closer look at specific investment arbitration cases in light of political risk management and analyses the results of the empirical survey.
